DCGG Views on the Digital Pound Consultation by the BoE and HM Treasury

Today, the joint consultation by the Bank of England and HM Treasury on a retail central bank digital currency – the so-called ‘digital pound’ – is officially closing.

DCGG strongly supports the initiative to consult with private sector representatives and industry experts on the potential design of the digital pound – a crucial step in the pipeline of this project, and have provided evidence outlining our perspectives.
