An official partner event of the European Commission’s European AI Innovation Month.

The Digital Currencies Governance Group (DCGG), together with Tether, will host a workshop as an official partner event of the European Commission’s European AI Innovation Month.

The workshop, “Decentralized AI: a new paradigm for EU competitiveness, digital sovereignty, and regulatory compliance”, will take place on Wednesday 10 November 2026 in Brussels. It will bring together industry, policy and academic representatives in an interactive format to explore emerging decentralised and agentic AI systems in Europe, examine their technical foundations, and discuss the policy questions and regulatory implications they raise.

The programme features two panels: Beyond Hyperscalers: Building Europe’s Sovereign AI Stack through Decentralized AI, and The Next Competitive Frontier: Open Source, Decentralized and Agentic AI, and Europe’s Innovation Ecosystem. Speakers confirmed and invited include representatives from OpenMined, the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, CERRE, CEPS, Tether, Mistral AI and the European Parliament.

Full details, the agenda and the speaker line-up are available on the event page. Attendance is by invitation, and further details will be published as they are confirmed.
